1. Scope

  1. By entering the premises of Jive.Berlin (hereinafter “DANCE SCHOOL”), the customers and visitors (hereinafter “VISITORS”) of the DANCE SCHOOL who take part in dance lessons and offers offered by the DANCE SCHOOL or who stay at the DANCE SCHOOL premises accept the validity of these general terms and conditions (hereinafter: terms and conditions).
  2. The terms and conditions apply to all areas and premises of the DANCE SCHOOL, including all access routes as well as outdoor, outdoor and parking areas (hereinafter: ROOMS).
  3. The terms and conditions apply to all VISITORS to the PREMISES and all other persons, regardless of why they enter the FACILITIES and regardless of whether a DANCE SCHOOL event is being held.
  4. Violations of the terms and conditions may result in an immediate reprimand, an exclusion from events or, in serious cases, a permanent house ban.
  5. The DANCE SCHOOL has sole house rights in the PREMISES and on the associated grounds in accordance with Section 2.

2. House Law

  1. VISITORS must absolutely follow the instructions given by the employees of the DANCE SCHOOL to exercise their house rights. VISITORS must behave in such a way that no other persons are harmed, endangered, or impeded or harassed more than is unavoidable under the circumstances
  2. In the case of regular dance classes, VISITORS under 16 years of age are only allowed to enter the PREMISES if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or upon presentation of a written declaration of consent from their legal guardian (in accordance with JuSchG). Guardians must ensure their supervisory duties.
  3. For special events such as dance weekends or competitions, the minimum age for VISITORS is 16 years. VISITORS under 18 years of age are only allowed to enter the PREMISES when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  4. VISITORS are denied access to the PREMISES or are expelled from the PREMISES if they: - do not follow the instructions of the DANCE SCHOOL, - are clearly under the influence of alcohol or drugs, - are clearly willing to use violence or to incite acts of violence that are prohibited from the house, - clearly intend to disrupt the DANCE SCHOOL events or carry prohibited or dangerous objects. - inappropriately harass or even sexually harass other VISITORS

  5. It is not permitted to bring animals of any kind into the PREMISES, unless this is permitted by the DANCE SCHOOL on request in individual cases.

3. Behavior

  1. VISITORS must use public access to the PREMISES.
  2. All objects found in the complex must be handed over to the DANCE SCHOOL.
  3. Personal injury or property damage must be reported to the DANCE SCHOOL immediately.
  4. All technical equipment such as fire detectors, hydrants, electrical distribution and control panels, telephone distributors and heating and ventilation systems must remain freely accessible and unobstructed by VISITORS. All entrances and exits as well as escape routes and emergency exits must be kept unrestricted.
  5. VISITORS are prohibited from: - to disrupt DANCE SCHOOL events; - to use or disseminate political propaganda and acts, racist, xenophobic, anti-constitutional slogans or emblems, or to express a far-right stance through gestures; - to climb or climb over buildings and facilities not intended for general use, in particular facades, fences, walls, enclosures, lighting systems, camera platforms, trees, masts of all types and roofs; - to use emergency stairwells in the PREMISES, unless an evacuation is required; - to enter areas of the PREMISES (e.g. functional rooms and media areas, etc.) that are not approved by the general public or to which the respective access authorization does not extend; - to throw objects of any kind, or to spill any kind of liquid; - to start fires, burn or shoot down fireworks, light bulbs, smoke bombs, Bengali fires, rockets, sparklers or other pyrotechnic objects; - to distribute promotional material, printed material, leaflets and to carry out collections; - to label, paint or glue structural systems, equipment, or paths or to set up other objects in the plant; - to contaminate the premises by throwing away objects, waste, packaging, empty containers, etc.; - to restrict or impair traffic areas, footpaths and driveways, entrances and exits to visitor sites and escape routes; - standing on the seats;

4. Liability

  1. Entering the PREMISES is at your own risk. TANZSCHULE is not liable for personal and property damage caused by third parties.
  2. The liability of TANZSCHULE and its vicarious agents of any kind is limited to intent and gross negligence, with the exception of personal injury or, in cases provided for by law, to intent and gross negligence.
  3. TANZSCHULE’s liability is limited to compensation for foreseeable damage typical of the contract, in addition to damage to life, body or health and other damage in the event of intentional or grossly negligent action.
  4. The DANCE SCHOOL is not liable for the loss of objects, unless the loss is based on the culpable conduct of the TANZSCHULE staff.
  5. TANZSCHULE is only liable for hearing and health damage within the scope of legal liability if the TANZSCHULE and/or its vicarious agents can be accused of intent or gross negligence.
  6. Agreements deviating from the above regulations and made in writing between a VISITOR and the DANCE SCHOOL take precedence over the above regulations.

5. Refunds

  1. If participants cancel an event or course after payment has been made, no refund of the costs can be given. However, the DANCE SCHOOL will try to find a solution (e.g. partial crediting for future events).

  2. The general terms and conditions apply to all areas and rooms of the DANCE SCHOOL, including all access roads as well as outdoor, outdoor and parking areas (hereinafter: ROOMS).
  3. The general terms and conditions apply to all VISITORS to the PREMISES and all other persons, regardless of the reason for entering the FACILITIES and regardless of whether a DANCE SCHOOL event is taking place.
  4. Violations of the general terms and conditions may result in an immediate warning, the exclusion of events or, in serious cases, a permanent house ban.
  5. The DANCE SCHOOL has sole domicile rights in the PREMISES and on the associated grounds in accordance with Section 2.

  1. VISITORS must strictly follow the instructions of DANCE SCHOOL employees to exercise their domestic rights. VISITORS must behave in such a way that no other person is harmed, endangered, or more than unavoidably impeded or harassed under the circumstances.
  2. For regular dance classes, VISITORS under 16 years of age are only allowed to enter the ROOMS when accompanied by a parent or upon presentation of a written declaration of consent from the legal guardian (in accordance with JuSchG). Guardians must ensure their supervisory duties.
  3. For special events such as dance weekends or competitions, the minimum age for VISITORS is 16 years. VISITORS under 18 years of age may only enter the PREMISES when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  4. VISITORS are denied access to the PREMISES or expelled from the PREMISES if they: - do not follow the instructions of the DANCE SCHOOL, - are clearly under the influence of alcohol or drugs, - are obviously prepared to use force or are prepared to incite acts of violence that are prohibited from entering, - obviously intend to disrupt DANCE SCHOOL events or to carry prohibited or dangerous objects. - inappropriately or even sexually harass other VISITORS

  5. Bringing animals of any kind into the PREMISES is not permitted, unless approved by the DANCE SCHOOL on request in individual cases.

3. Behavior

  1. VISITORS must use the public entrances to the PREMISES.
  2. All objects found in the facility must be handed over to the DANCE SCHOOL.
  3. Personal injury or property damage must be reported to the DANCE SCHOOL immediately.
  4. All technical equipment such as fire detectors, hydrants, electrical distributors and control panels, telephone distributors and heating and ventilation systems must remain freely accessible and undisturbed by VISITORS. All entrances and exits as well as escape and emergency exits must be kept completely clear.
  5. VISITORS are prohibited from: - to disrupt DANCE SCHOOL events; - to use or disseminate political propaganda and actions, racist, xenophobic, anti-constitutional slogans or emblems, or to express a far-right stance through gestures; - to climb or climb over buildings and facilities not intended for general use, in particular facades, fences, walls, enclosures, barriers, lighting systems, camera platforms, trees, masts of all types and roofs; - to use the escape stairs of the PREMISES unless an evacuation is requested; - to enter areas of the PREMISES (e.g. function rooms and media areas, etc.) that are not accessible to the public or to which the respective access authorization does not apply; - to throw objects of any kind or to spill liquids of any kind; - to light fires, burn or shoot down fireworks, flares, smoke powder, smoke bombs, Bengal fires, rockets, sparklers or other pyrotechnic objects; - to distribute promotional material, printed material and leaflets and to carry out collections; - to label, paint or glue buildings, systems or paths or to set up other objects in the facility; - to contaminate the PREMISES by throwing away objects, waste, packaging, empty containers, etc.; - restrict or impede traffic areas, sidewalks and access roads, entrances and exits from visitor areas and escape routes; - to stand on the seats.

4. Liability

  1. Entering the PREMISES is at your own risk. The DANCE SCHOOL is not liable for personal or property damage caused by third parties.
  2. The liability of DANCE SCHOOL and its vicarious agents, of any kind, is limited to intent and gross negligence, with the exception of personal injury or in cases provided for by law.
  3. DANCE SCHOOL’s liability is limited to compensation for foreseeable damage typical of the contract, excluding damage to life, body or health as well as other damage due to intentional or grossly negligent action.
  4. The DANCE SCHOOL is not liable for the loss of objects, unless the loss is due to culpable conduct by the TANZSCHULE staff.
  5. TANZSCHULE is only liable for hearing and health damage within the scope of legal liability if the TANZSCHULE and/or its vicarious agents can be accused of intent or gross negligence.
  6. Written agreements between a VISITOR and the DANCE SCHOOL that deviate from the above regulations take precedence over the above regulations.

5. Refunds
